Jason M.
Private tutor in Valley Center, CA
Education
I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Abilene Christian University. There my math education went up to basic topology and field theory.
Experience
In college, I tutored for 4 years. There I tutored various subjects such as Quantitative Reasoning, College Algebra, Finite Mathematics, Introduction to Probability and Statistics, Pre-Calculus, but primarily Calculus 1 and 2. When I was in high school, I passed the AP Calculus AB and BC exams, and earned college credit for Calculus 1 and 2. I've taken Abstract Algebra and Real Analysis, which are typically seen as the theoretical basis for algebra and calculus. When I graduated, I earned two awards from my department, one for my exceptional knowledge in mathematics, and another for my unique ability to communicate it to students. Often times, I feel I was born to be a tutor, and I am happy to continue using my talent to help people wherever I go.

Hobbies
My primary leisure activity is hanging out with close friends. I have a small group of friends that I spend the majority of my time with, watching movies, playing video games, or just having lunch with. Aside from that, I also spend my time researching mathematics. My goal is to go on to attain my Phd in mathematics, and become a mathematician. I also juggle and jog for exercise.
